I live in the U.S., but am happiest traveling...when I can't take anything for granted. 

Apologies to the late New York Times reporter Anthony Lewis for "stealing" his title -- when in the U.S., the column was "Abroad at Home," and when traveling internationally, "At Home Abroad."

At home, I'm Chris Goodrich; abroad, I tend to be Cristobal Colon, since I mostly travel in Latin America, and the locals find the name amusing....
